Jacob Birdsall was born July 13 1722 and married Elizabeth Whitson at Matinecock, Long Island, New York.   Elizabeth Whitson was the great granddaughter of Elizabeth Fones Winthrop Feake Hallet who’s life is portrayed in the biographical fiction The Winthrop Woman by Anya Seton, published in 1958.
